Cozmic Entertainments, who had the children enthralled with their own brand of magic and puppetry as did stilt walking Jungle Bungle and the balloon modelling Chloe the clown, provided other great family entertainment.

Meanwhile in the activity arena tag rugby, disAbility football, and Fire and Police dogs delighted the crowds. In particular the football coaching and penalty shootouts were amusing, with Janeatte Eathorne from BBC Radio Cornwall showing particular promise at her football dribbling skills.

Walking around the showground it was amazing to see the variety of exhibitors present, both locally and from afar. ‘Made in Cornwall’ also had a large marquee, with Cornish firms displaying their locally made wares including: wood turning, local fudge and cakes, pottery, paintings, Cornish scene embroidery and much more!
